The Lockport Canal Homes project consists of the development of 30 affordable housing units, at a cost of $8.7 million, in the Genesee Street corridor of the City of Lockport. The project includes eight newly constructed buildings and one substantially rehabilitated structure, and while each building containx more than one unit, each apartment will have features of a single-family-oriented or town home style unit with private and separate entryways. All of the units are leased to income qualifying households, with 21 of the units targeting households earning 60% AMI or less, while nine of the units will have the ability to target very low income households.

Architecturally, the units reflect some of the most desirable housing options within the City of Lockport.
