Over the past two years, Housing Visions has witnessed the economic devastation caused by Covid-19 on our Residents and their families. Approximately 40% of Housing Visions’ Residents remain behind in their rent; nearly 575 households! As recovery from Covid continues, Residents require assistance to maintain housing stability. Your support is needed more than ever to assist the Residents that are at the very core of the Housing Visions’ Mission.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Housing Visions’ Resident Eviction Prevention Program. High-quality, affordable housing is a key element to establish household stability and we want to ensure individuals and families are not evicted due to the economic fallout from Covid or other unexpected life events. The ripple effects of eviction – such as being displaced from a community, children having to switch schools, and loss of possessions – are all major setbacks to the mental and financial well-being of renters, causing upheaval in their lives that can be felt for years. The Resident Eviction Prevention Program will provide critical point-in-time assistance and case management for Residents experiencing hardship, while simultaneously providing financial aid and social support to keep households stable and secure in their homes.
